Four people injured in serious head-on crash in the south of Tenerife
A serious road accident in Guía de Isora yesterday, Sunday, left four people injured following a head-on collision between two cars on kilometre 87 of the TF-465 in the south of Tenerife.
The Emergency Services Coordination Centre received multiple alerts reporting a violent crash with several people trapped inside the cars, prompting the immediate activation of a large emergency response.
The fire brigade were needed to free one of the victims who had become trapped in the wreckage due to the force of the impact.
SUC medical teams were deployed to the scene with two basic-life-support ambulances. After assessment and stabilisation, they confirmed four casualties, all with moderate injuries:
- A 58-year-old woman with moderate trauma
- Another woman with moderate trauma
- A 32-year-old man with moderate injuries
- A second man also suffering moderate trauma
All four were urgently transferred to Hospital del Sur for further medical evaluation.
Local Police officers assisted in managing traffic and securing the scene, while the Guardia Civil has taken charge of the investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
