Five young people aged 17 to 23 injured after car overturns in Costa Adeje
Five young people, four women and one man aged 17, 18, 21, 22 and 23, were injured in the early hours of Saturday morning when their car overturned on Avenida de Los Pueblos, Costa Adeje, in the south of Tenerife.
According to Canary Islands Emergency Services (112 Canarias), all sustained multiple moderate injuries (policontusions).
Emergency response and hospital transfers
The victims, including a 17-year-old minor, received initial treatment at the scene from SUC medical staff. They were then transferred to different hospitals in the south of the island for further treatment:
- Hospital del Sur
- Hospital Quirón Adeje
- Hospiten Sur University Hospital
Police investigation
The Adeje Local Police took charge of the incident report and are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
Authorities remind drivers to exercise caution on urban roads, particularly at night, when the risk of serious accidents increases.
