Craig David to headline new R&B festival in Tenerife this May
A new music festival is coming to Tenerife this May, with British star Craig David confirmed as the headline act. R&B Nation will take place on 9 May at the Anexo Palmetum, which is an open-air venue next to the Palmetum botanical gardens near the seafront in Santa Cruz.
The one-day event will bring together a mix of international performers and local talent, with a strong focus on R&B. Organisers say the festival aims to grow Tenerife’s urban music scene and give fans a new event to look forward to.
Craig David will perform his popular TS5 show, which combines DJ sets with live singing and some of his biggest hits. The format is known for its lively atmosphere and close connection with the crowd.
Also on the line-up are Deejay Dario, DJ Dreemz and Dailos MB, who will present a special set during the event. The mix of artists combines both well-known names and rising talent from the Canary Islands.
Deejay Dario is considered one of the leading figures in the islands’ urban music scene, regularly performing at major events. His strong following and energetic sets have made him a favourite with local audiences.
Organisers say the festival is designed to be more than just a concert, aiming to create a full music experience for fans. The focus will be on bringing artists and audiences closer together through live performances and high-quality production.
