Car fire on TF-1 motorway causes major traffic delays near Guaza
Drivers are being urged to take extreme care this morning after a car caught fire on the TF-1 motorway in the south of Tenerife, causing significant traffic congestion.
The incident occurred on the southbound carriageway near Guaza. Firefighters from Tenerife Fire Brigade, along with Guardia Civil officers and the Cabildo’s Roads Department, are currently on scene dealing with the situation.
The affected lane has led to long delays as emergency services work to fully extinguish the vehicle fire and ensure the safety of road users.
Motorists travelling through the area are advised to slow down, follow any instructions given by authorities, and consider alternative routes where possible.
