ALL ABOARD! Don’t miss the Christmas Train in the south of Tenerife this weekend

Get ready for the most Christmassy adventure in the south of Tenerife this weekend, and the best part? It's absolutely free! The Granadilla de Abona Council is rolling out the Christmas Train, a festive journey through the heart of Granadilla's historic district from today, Friday 15th December, to Sunday, December 17th.

This spirited initiative, led by the Tourism Department and spearheaded by Maria Luz Fernández, is an open invitation to both locals and tourists in the area. Families and friends are encouraged to join in the merriment as they explore the enchanting Christmas decorations and various points of interest along the way.

The magical journey kicks off at El Calvario, weaving its way through the lively González Mena Square, descending Calle Antonio Pérez Díaz, ascending Calle El Pino until it reaches the charming church square. The route then continues upwards, passing through the vibrant San Pedro and Santa Lucía squares before returning to its starting point, and adventurous participants will have the chance to hop off and explore different locations during the route.

The Christmas Tourist Train operates from 3:00pm to 7:30pm this afternoon (Friday) and from 10:30am to 2:30pm and then 3:30pm to 7:30pm on Saturday and Sunday. Best of all, it's a completely free activity, complete with accompanying guides. However, under 16s are requested to be accompanied by an adult.

Don't miss out on this festive and joyous experience as the Christmas Train brings the holiday spirit to the south of Tenerife this weekend!
