A motorcyclist seriously injured in a collision with a car in Adeje

According to the Emergency Services Coordination Centre (CECOES), a man in his 50s has been seriously hurt in a motorbike accident after colliding with a car on Calle San Sebastián, which runs parallel to the High Street in Adeje.

CECOES received an urgent call at 7.08am reporting an accident between a car and a motorcycle, and they immediately dispatched the necessary emergency resources to the area.

Paramedics treated the man at the scene of the accident who had multiple injuries, including a head injury, stabilising him sufficiently to be able to transfer him to the Hospiten hospital in Las Americas for emergency treatment.

The Local Police instructed the corresponding proceedings to investigate the cause of the accident on what is a one-way street with a speed limit of 30kmh.
