A huge meteor crosses the skies of the Canary Islands
The sky of La Palma offered a spectacular moment on a peaceful and clear Saturday night this weekend as an impressive meteor crossed the sky in the eastern part of the island and the glow of its dazzling trail illuminated the horizon for a thousandth of a second.
This amazing image was captured from Montaña La Breña by the renowned and award-winning photographer and landscape specialist, David del Rosario.
Del Rosario said: “At around 11:00pm I was taking photographs of the Moon. At first, I did not notice the glow, but when I returned home and downloaded the file I was impressed by the image of the meteor”.
