Sun and clouds will dominate the weather across the Canary Islands today, Monday, with temperatures exceeding 25°C and some isolated showers, according to the latest forecast from the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET).
Northerly to north-easterly winds at force 4 or 5 are expected at sea, except in the south-western coastal areas where lighter, variable winds (force 1 to 3) may occur. Moderately rough seas are expected, with a north-westerly swell of 1 to 2 metres.

LANZAROTE
Partly cloudy skies early in the day, with a low chance of light, scattered showers. Clearing is expected as the day progresses. Temperatures will remain steady. Moderate north-easterly winds, occasionally strong in inland areas during the afternoon.
Expected temperature range: minimum of 17°C and maximum of 24°C.
FUERTEVENTURA
Similar conditions to Lanzarote, with early cloud cover and a slight chance of light rain, followed by clearer skies. Moderate north-easterly winds, with occasional strong gusts along the western coast in the latter half of the day.
Expected temperature range: minimum of 18°C and maximum of 24°C.
GRAN CANARIA
Cloudy in the north during the early and late hours, with a slight chance of brief, weak showers overnight. Generally clearer skies are expected throughout the day. Elsewhere, mostly sunny. Moderate north-easterly winds, stronger in the far west and south-east slopes in the afternoon, with a chance of locally very strong gusts. Light coastal breezes in the south-west.
Expected temperature range: minimum of 19°C and maximum of 25°C.
TENERIFE
Cloudy skies in the north, and on southern and western slopes during the early hours, with a slight chance of light rain. Conditions will clear during the day with some occasional cloud, before becoming overcast again in the north by evening. Other areas will remain mostly clear. Moderate north-easterly winds, with stronger intervals in the far west and south-east during the afternoon, and possible very strong gusts. Light breezes along the western coast.
Expected temperature range: minimum of 18°C and maximum of 26°C.
