8-year-old seriously injured after car crashes into wall in Adeje
An eight-year-old boy has been seriously injured after a car crashed into a wall in Adeje, in the south of Tenerife, yesterday evening (Wednesday). Emergency services were called to Calle El Tablero, where three people required assistance.
The incident happened at around 6.30pm, according to the Canary Islands’ emergency coordination centre. The young boy suffered a serious injury and was treated at the roadside before being taken by ambulance to the Hospital Universitario Nuestra Señora de Candelaria.
A woman with a minor health issue and another child with slight injuries were also treated, neither required hospital treatment.
Emergency crews, including advanced life support and basic life support ambulances, attended the incident alongside the Local Police. Officers secured the area and are now investigating the circumstances of the crash.
