A five-year-old boy and an 80-year-old man were injured and taken to hospital after a mobility scooter accident in the south of Tenerife.
The incident happened on Calle Valencia in Torviscas at around 2:45pm on Friday, according to reports from the Emergency Services Coordination Centre (CECOES)
The elderly man, who was driving the mobility scooter, suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Hospiten Sur University Hospital.
The boy, who he hit, was left with minor injuries but was also taken to the same hospital for treatment and routine observation.
The Local Police attended the scene and are carrying out an investigation into what happened.
