Umtiti had no chance of defending against crooks

INJURED football star Samuel Umtiti’s house was burgled, while he was watching his Barcelona play Valencia in a La Liga game at the Nou Camp.
The French defender, watching from the dug-out saw his team beat them 5-2 from the dug-out, but his joy was dampened when he learned that four hooded men broke into his house and opened the safe, before leaving the premises, hurriedly.
Local Police received a warning from residents that intruders were in his home, and officers have been investigating the incident.
The sportsman’s stolen booty, which included cash and belongings, is yet to be confirmed, but reports say the former Lyon defender is not happy!
Yet the 25-year-old isn’t the first player to have his home raided by thieves while he’s at a match. Umtiti squad mates, who have suffered the same since last year, include Luis Suárez, Gerard Pique, Jordi Alba, and Coutinho, who is on loan to German club Bayern Munich.
This year, the homes of Barca players Arthur and Kevin-Prince Boateng were also targeted in Catalonia.
France international Umtiti has been sidelined for six weeks after injuring his foot, and his 2018-19 champìonship-winning side haven’t been at their brilliant best in the league, with Lionel Messi recently returning from injury.
