Three-way split, but it’s sad for the Happy Days

TWO weeks into the season, and a few new teams are making a name for themselves, especially in Division 2.

It’s a dead-heat at the top between Bar Leones, Reef and Yelas Travellers: two games played, two games won, all stats equal!

At the other end of the table are league newcomers Happy Days, whose first game, at Mad Hatters, ended in a 9-3 defeat. But they still have the whole season ahead of them, and their opponents are a good team, so you they know what to expect.

On to Division 1, in which the usual suspects, Legends A, are leading the pack, winning both their opening matches.

They’ve had two tough clashes, against Britannia Inn and Scruffy Macs A, but they lost just six games out of 24!

It’s an excellent start for them, but watch out for Nauta Nomads, who have also won two out of two.

Union Bar, a new Division 1 team, are going great guns in third place after beating Grandee O’Donnells on Tuesday.

Another new team to the league, and Division 1 are Scruffy Boys, who are also playing superb pool.
