We’ve also got talent!

RESEARCHERS for top ITV show Britain’s Got Talent are heading to Spain in a search for new stars.

The UK’s most popular TV talent contest was created by the legendary Simon Cowell. And Mandy O’Hagan, who, for eight years, has owned entertainment agency Stars in Bars, in Torrevieja, where she lives, has been asked by Thames TV/BGT to put together a showcase for interested applicants.

“One of the assistant producers of Thames TV/BGT contacted me after doing a google search for agencies in Spain,” said Mandy, whose husband used to be on the Tenerife circuit.

“I was top of the list, and in the area they wanted to come to, because they are also doing something in Benidorm after my show, later the same day.”

She added: “They have always stayed in UK, but they decided to venture to this part of Spain because they know a lot of expats live here. They have asked me to put together a showcase on 22nd July.

“They are sending over two talent scouts from the show, and they will also film it to take back with them. And if they like the look of any acts, they will go to BGT’s London shows later in the year.

“The programme is seeking magicians, singers, dancers, circus acts, comedians, and more, and there is no age restriction.”

Interested parties should contact Mandy by email on mandyohagan@hotmail.com, or via Facebook https://www.facebook.com/mandy.ohagan.
