Suters beat maximum man!

SUTERS 20:30 Crew didn’t have it all their own way, for a change, when they visited Legends last Friday and found John in top form, scoring three maximums during the evening. But experience came to the fore, as the Stokies won 5-3.

The Pub were convincing winners as they welcomed Ourplace Playboys, for whom Alan conjured up a superb 107 finish.

But with Sam’s 180, the home boys strolled to an 8-0 victory.

Marilyns ‘A’ (now Scooters ‘A’) travelled a long way to Sandys, and came out 6-2 winners. But there was a tight game in Los Abrigos, as old rivals Pas O Nadas ‘A’ fought out a tough 4-4 draw with The Loch-In ‘A’, who took the trebles by a 254 margin, to end an excellent night of darts.

Picasso’s were on the wrong end of an 8-0 thrashing by league leaders Gaffers, whose Duncan hit 180, and, appropriately for a Wolves bar, the best finish of the night was Steve’s Bull.

Palms Sports Bar entertained Clouseau’s, and, thanks to Mark’s shanghai finish in the trebles, the visitors took the match 5-3.

A change of venue for Marilyns ‘B’, now Scooters ‘B’, did not appear to affect their darts, as they welcomed Nauta Nomads and beat them 7-1. And Naughty Nautas performed well when hosting Ourplace Breakaways. Eamon against Fudder proved to be the night’s best game, with Eamon winning, and helping towards a 7-1 home win.

The local Golf del Sur derby saw Sundowners travel to Waterfall, and record a narrow 5-3 victory over Waterfall. They won the trebles to clinch victory, and Maggie hit a bull finish again.

League leaders Emerald Lounge ‘B’ hosted Scruffy Lads, and, following excellent darts from both teams, they came out with a 6-2 win.

But hot on their heels are The Loch-In Bullseyes, who posted the same score against Pas O Nadas ‘B’ to keep within three points, plus a game in hand. Ourplace Playgirls welcomed Emerald Lounge, who found their form to secure an impressive 6-2 victory.
