Skeleton could be that of a 2016 missing man

A SKELETON was found by a woman walking her dog in Adeje, and Local Police were alerted immediately,

It was discovered in Calle Principe Pelinor, in the Galeon area, and a source from the Guardia Civil has confirmed that the bones are from a human body,

According to the same source, it looked as though they had been there for quite some time, and for, that reason, police cannot confirm whether it is male or female; neither can they yet determine the cause of death, for the same reason.

Also found, around the skeleton, were a pair of black trousers and a piece of fluorescent clothing, as well as a pair of trainers,

Officials are not ruling out the possibility that it could be the remains of Carmelo Antonio Diaz Pezcoso, who disappeared in the area in November 2016.

Neighbours last saw Carmelo near his home, close to the El Galeon area. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing orange shorts, a green pistachio shirt, black shoes and yellow glasses.
