A very relieved mum!

Cats Welfare news

ON Tuesday, a Cats Welfare volunteer went to Los Gigantes after a visitor alerted us to a pregnant female about to give birth. The cat was very obliging, and went straight into the box.

She is now in a safe place where she will stay until her kittens are weaned and homed. She will then be spayed, and, hopefully, rehomed herself. We’ll be trying to catch, and then neuter, several other cats in the near future.

Adoptions
These two females are waiting to be adopted into loving homes, either together, or separately.

Tiger Lily is a lovely, small tabby, and is about four years old. She loves a cuddle and is great with dogs and other cats, and tolerates children.

Garfield is a cheeky ginger. She is about six years old, and is a real chatter box. She loves her food, and yours – if you let her! She’s also happy with dogs, other cats and children. Both ladies have been neutered, are leukaemia negative, and have had their vaccinations.

Interested in adopting Tiger Lily, Garfield, or both? Please contact

www.cats-welfare-tenerife.com or ring/WhatsApp Maria (English) on 6466 29129, seven days a week 9am-6pm, or Sandra (Spanish and German) after 6pm on 6712 82773.

Zuri
This very fluffy, blue-eyed, handsome boy is waiting to be adopted. He is  about 2-3 years old, and loves lots of affection. He is leukaemia negative, neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Zuri is very chilled-out, and would  fit into most home situations.

All cats are adopted on a week’s trial, in your home.

Our shop

We always need cat food, litter, old newspapers, sheets, towels, bedding etc for the cats and kittens in our care, and also good quality/condition items for sale in our shop.

They can be dropped into the shop on San Blas, Golf del Sur (behind Hiperdino). It is open seven days a week, 10-6pm. If you don’t have transport, or have large, bulky items such as furniture and household effects to donate, please ring Mark on 6365 90557, and he will arrange collection from you.

Fostering

We are in urgent need of people, in their own homes, to bottle-feed kittens. No experience is needed, and we will supply all the milk – and support! Message us on Facebook, or contact us via our website www.cats-welfare-tenerife.com
