‘Messi’ drug-dealers make real hash of it

A HUGE drug-dealing operation, led by the “Messi of Hashish” has been busted by law enforcement agents, and what a bust it has proved to be!
Among the seizures were: some 6,060kg of hashish, five high-speed vessels, valued at €1.5m, 17 stolen vehicles, a whopping €480,000 in cash, four short and two long weapons, and a sum of €94,00 has been blocked in 20 bank accounts.
And that’s not all, because an entire shipyard has also been intercepted by the Guardia Civil.
The illegal activities took place in Seville and Cadiz, the dealers operating along the Guadalquivir river, with shipments coming from Africa. Now,70 men and eight women are under arrest for their role in the criminal gang, while 15 orders have been issued for other members, still on the run.
The Guardia Civil have also blocked dozens of bank accounts, intercepted 14 vehicles, as well as three vessels, and infiltrated six homes in Algeciras, each valued at over €3m.
