The menace of Dennis!

DIVISION 1 is really coming alive, and Dennis is proving a menace to the opposition, but you don’t need my opinion. Here’s the quote from Duncan, on the Facebook page:

Gaffers Hollywood 8 Scooters A 0

“Some great darts by Gaffers. We were outplayed: Dennis, 170 check-out with 18-dart game: Joe, 15-dart game, great to watch. Tony had a chance for 126 check-out; missed double 3 and bust good food. Great night. Thanks Gaffers, and good luck for the rest of the season.”

Call me lazy, but with such good quotes on Facebook, which say it all, why should I try to compete with them?

Mad Hatters 2, Pas O Nadas A 6

Trebles to Pas O Nadas, 180 for Wayne Pas O Nadas. “That was one tough game, could have been 4-4, 3-5 or 5-3, hitting a double wins games.

“Luckily, we eventually hit a couple more than them. Great night, great food and a lot of laughs. Shame we only play you three times a season.

There was only one 3-0 result, so not quite as one-sided as it might appear.

Waterfall 1 v Pas O Nadas Int 7

Some great darts, in between some very poor darts, 118 finish for Santi Pas O Nadas. Barry played exceptionally well to win the first game. Good laugh all round. Thanks the Waterfall.

Sandys Bookie Boys 7 Emerald B 1

This was slightly closer than the bare result, with a few 3-2s, but no doubting the better team. The weakened Emerald B team are struggling, but still had a great night, even if they did lose 7-1.

Loch Inn Bullseyes 3 Ourplace Playboys 5

Can’t tell you much about this one. It was hard work just getting the result, but Pablo hit a 180.

Suters 20:30 Crew v The Pub (postponed)

Division 2 had some closer games, but they weren’t at Club Activo, who faced a visit from Clouseau’s. Activo won the first eight legs, then Clouseau’s had to give away the next game, because of a shortage of players, which meant they were 5-0 down, without reply. But Clouseau’s gave it a good shot, and won a couple of legs, before going down to an unfortunate 8-0 defeat.

Naughty Nautas 4 Sundowners 4

Sundowners took a 3-1 lead, but Nautas fought back to 3-3, only to lose the lead again in the 7th. That left them chasing a draw in the team game, and they did what was needed, to finish 4-4.

Emerald Lounge 5 Ourplace Breakways 3

The Emerald took a 3-1 lead, before the fightback began, and Breakaways had a chance of the draw in the trebles, but

in-form Emerald took it to seal a 5-3 win.

Pas’O’Nadas 4 Marilyns B 4

Apparently, there was some good scoring from both teams, and again it came down to the trebles. Marilyns took it, to level the match.

Ourplace Playgirls 1 The Club House 7

The Playgirls faced the daunting prospect of being visited by The Club House, and if they thought it was going to be tough, they were right because it finished 7-1 against them.

Scooters & Chevys B 5 Picasso’s 3 (at Palms)

Again, can’t tell you much about it, but it ended 5-3 to Scooters.

Palms Sports Bar v Pink Elephant (postponed)
