The Palms and The Swan capture the main honours - 22.05.2009
THE curtain came down on a hugely successful Oasis Fm Tenerife 8 Ball League season last Tuesday with the final round of matches.

In the Yellow League The Swan, having already clinched the title, ensured another undefeated campaign with a 7-3 win at Legends.
The Brum made it a hat-trick of wins with success over Rat Pack, and they claimed the silver, with Delicias La Cana taking third spot.
Three sides could still take the spoils in the Red League, but after a little wobble The Palms got the points they required to become champions.
The Trap Door B boys gave them a few nervy moments as they fought back from 4-1 down to level the match at 4-4. However, The Palms sunk the last two blacks to claim the trophy.
That left a runners-up play-off between The Target Bar and Tenerife Hammers A and it was the eel-munchers who succeeded.
They have been in devastating form over the last few months, and again they were too strong for their opponents. It was a bitter pill for the Target Bar lads to take.
They were top of the table a fortnight ago, but had to settle for bronze. At the bottom, The Terrace Bar beat The Barracuda in the battle to avoid the wooden spoon.
This week, the focus is on the quarter-finals of the Oasis Fm League Cup, and the pick of the matches takes place in Los Cristianos.
Tenerife Hammers A must travel to face a Trap Door A side, who will fancy their chances of springing an upset on their own table.
The hosts have been in good form recently, giving The Swan a real match a few weeks back.
The Hammers will also be without talisman Jambo, who is cup-tied, and might be there for the taking after missing out on League honours.
Elsewhere, former ‘bar mates’ The Swan and the Cygnets lock feathers, while Delicias La Cana will look to get back to winning ways at home to the always-tricky Atlantis Bar.
In Torviscas, The Palms host North & South just three weeks after the sides drew 5-5 in a league thriller.
