The president of the Cabildo received a representation from Cape Verde.
The president of Cabildo Tenerife, Ricardo Melchior, last Tuesday received the delegation; the representation of Cape Verde was headed by Antonio Pedro Silva, executive manager of Cape Verde Investment, whose aim is to maintain contacts with different institutional sectors and business. Attended by the counsellor of Economics and Competitiveness, Carlos Alonso, and representatives of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry the meeting took place to look at the economic and cultural relations between Tenerife and Cape Verde, which have been heightened with the official visits made by officials from the Cabildo in recent months. It also spoke of the tourism promotion and export, investment and for the management of special tourist areas, as well as air connections to promote closer relations. |
