Playa San Juan Beach - 25.04.2008
CC accuses the municipal government of deceiving the people with the beach

"They call it the sand…" said the spokesman, Jesus Morales, referring to the regeneration of the beach at Playa San Juan. In his criticism of the local government, formed by the PSC-PSO, the nationalist councillor ensures that "throughout this time and in reference to this work, we have been deceived, including making use of municipal funds for publishing an information booklet"

Since CC have shown dissatisfaction with the final outcome of the beach "and what they deserve is a beach with sand quality that is consistent with tourism and an infrastructure to match".

Jesus Morales insists on demanding "a real beach", meaning "one that goes beyond del Horno de la Cal, to Pass Palo".

The spokesman for the mayor hopes CC "will reconsider its mistake and does not come now saying that we provide a solution when they’ve got to the bottom of it pushing a project that was observed beforehand that it was not the best, ignoring the opposition."

Apparently the surface of the new beach is so rough that you have to wear footwear!
