Horacio is given new lease of life

A KENYAN youngster has had a life-changing operation, after experiencing a decade of embarrassment, anxiety and deformity.

It all started when Horacio Owiti Opiyo, an orphan who was about 10, noticed something strange on his genitals.

Doctors treated the growth as a cyst, which never existed. Yet the growth became larger and larger, to the extent that he developed a penis measuring one metre in length, with testicles weighing an astonishing 5kgs.

The deformity meant he was unable to lead a normal life, and Horacio, known as Forence and now 20, But he simply couldn’t afford medical treatment.

Apparently, the young man’s rare condition was caused by a mosquito bite, which injected parasitic worms into Forence’s bloodstream, blocking the body’s drainage system.

Doctors believe this is why Forence accumulated a huge volume of liquid on his genetailia, and picked up a disease known as scrotal elephantiasis.

A close friend decided to take some pictures and post them on social media to raise awareness for Forence, who used to hide behind closed doors while suffering enormous pain.

Now, thanks to his pal, who highlighted his condition,  and his many followers, Forence has now had an operation, which offers him a new beginning.

He is now a happy young man, wearing normal trousers… and making plans for a bright new future.
