Grizzly’s winning feature

A SUPERB 116 finish by Grizzly, backed up by his Pub team-mates, made the Division 1 headlines as they disposed of Palms Pool Bar, with an 8-0 whitewash, to retain their top spot.

Following closely are Pas O Nadas ‘A’, who swept aside Picasso’s with a comfortable 7-1 home success. And Suters 20:30 Crew are also in the hunt, thanks to Ray’s 180, and a 7-1 victory over Mad Hatters.

It will make interesting reading when all the catch-up games have been completed, and Gaffers will have a major say about where the trophy rests, at the end of the season.

Promoted teams Sandys and Legends fought out a cracking match, the latter just scraping through 5-3 after an excellent night of food, banter… oh, and some darts as well!

Division 2 leaders Waterfall flattened Ourplace Playgirls 8-0, to maintain their five-point advantage, with Julia contributing with an excellent 180. But they have played two more matches than their rivals.

Emerald Lounge ‘B’ are making it a tight division, beating Scooters ‘B’ 5-3 to keep up the pressure, and stay in the race for the main prize.

The Loch-In Bullseyes were grateful to Andy B’s 146 finish as they won 5-3 at Sundowners, for whom Paul produced some fine scores.

Clouseau’s and Nauta Nomads had a ding-dong of a match, the home team finally claiming the trebles, for a 5-3 win in a close encounter.

Ourplace Breakaways had the advantage going into the final game at home against Pas O Nadas ‘B’, but the girls displayed their fighting spirit, and pulled off a draw by winning the trebles.
