Grizzly’s wake-up call!

GAFFERS hosted The Pub in a battle of the top teams, and raced into a 4-1 singles lead. But Grizzly rallied his troops and took the doubles and trebles, to earn a respectable draw in a battling comeback.

Suters 20.30 Crew dropped the first two games at home to The Loch-In ‘A’, but they found their form and led 4-3 with the trebles to play. However, the visitors were first to finish, and a 4-4 draw was the result.

Well done to The Loch-In’s James, for his 180, and all the best to Stokie Sam in his new UK venture.

Picasso’s welcomed Legends, who notched up another victory by a 6-2 margin. Palms Pool Bar travelled to The Hatters and found Rob’s team in fine form, winning 6-2.

In the local derby, Emerald Lounge ‘B’ overcame their A team 5-3 to keep on track for silverware. Rivals Waterfall had a trip to Nauta Camp Site, where the home team had a successful team game, claiming a 4-4 draw.

The Loch-In Bullseyes welcomed Palms Sports bar and proved too strong on the night, winning 6-2 to maintain their promotion push.

Naughty Nautas left it to the trebles, which they won, to register a 4-4 draw against Ourplace Playgirls, while Sundowners came home from Ourplace Breakaways, with a fine 6-2 success.

In the catch-up matches, Waterfall visited The Loch-In Bullseyes and took a quick 4-1 lead. But the home side had their backsides kicked by Kevin Chuckle, and this inspired victory in the team games to rescue a draw.

Good luck to all teams in the Handicap Cup and Plate tonight, especially as the draw has brought out some interesting ties.
