Fire in Ifonche
There is a fire in Ifonche, in the municipality of Adeje
which appears to be spreading. It began on agricultural land,
just off the TF567, 6KM above the village of Arona.
Emergency services, including helicopters are fighting the fire,
roads approaching the area are closed.
The severe lack of water and tinder dry land is hampering the
fire fighters; they are now taking water from resevoirs near
Escalona.
