Defeats are still celebrated!

FIVE catch-up games were played last Friday, and, although there were some one-sided affairs, it appears that most players still had a good night, as Susan demonstrated after Waterfall’s match at Sandys Bookie Boys
“A more enjoyable night than it sounds,” she said, referring to the Bookies’ 8-0 whitewash.
Gaffers#teamhollywood were home to a Suters 20:30 Crew team missing a few players, and even Sam’s 180 wasn’t enough to stop Gaffers running out 6-2 winners.
Scooters & Chevys A v Pas O Nadas Int
I can’t put it any better than Duncan has written on Facebook: “Scooters A 0 Pas O Nadas Int 8. What can I say? Outplayed, outgunned, but still enjoyed; took 3 legs, so no whitewash. Some good finishing, Quality 102, Santo 108. Thanks to the staff, good food, mince and tats. Good night had by all.”Top of Form
The theme continued in Division 2, with the Pink Elephant v Picassos @ Palms match.
Chas said: “Piccaso’s 0 Pink Elephant 8. Per 180. Good catch-up with old friends. We won a leg. Yes! Only the one. I would like to say it was close. But it wasn’t. LOL. Great night out. Thanks Lynn, and your very good team.”
Finally, we have Clouseau’s v Scooters & Chevys B. All I can tell you is the score, because I don’t know anything else. It was 7-1 to the visitors.
The Handicap takes place tonight (Friday, 13th) and the league resumes on 10th January. But more catch-up games are planned during the break, so, as long as people let me know when they are playing, I will keep you all up to date on Facebook, as they happen.
