Champs too close to call

THERE was an unusual result when Rob’s Mad Hatters visited The Loch-In. Yes – West Ham actually won a game!

And in a tight match, closer to home, Hatters proved too strong in the trebles against a depleted home side, and clinched a 4-4 draw.

The Pub had an easy victory over Scooters ‘A’, romping home 8-0, while Sandys welcomed Suters 20:30 Crew, who were on good form and went home with a 7-1 win.

Pas O Nadas ‘A’ again had Daddy Cool and Luc to thank for their 180s, as they strolled to a similar win over Ourplace Playboys, for whom Nathan won the point.

Pas O Nadas top the table at this stage, but, with just only a couple of games to go, the chasing Suters and The Pub each have a game in hand, which could help decide the prized trophy’s destination.

Fudder hit a maximum in Ourplace Breakaways’ match at Palms Sports Bar. But Chris also scored 180 for the home side, helping them to a 6-2 success.

Naughty Nautas and Nauta Nomads played out a well-deserved 4-4 draw, with Nomads taking the team game to claim their share. Clouseau’s travelled to title hopefuls Emerald Lounge ‘B’, and, in a close game, they eventually won the 701 game to square the match.

Title contenders The Loch-In Bullseyes visited Ourplace Playgirls, throwing consistently all night to record an important 6-2 victory, to make it really tight at the top.

Scooters ‘B’ welcomed Emerald Lounge, who came out on top with a 5-3 win. But Pas O Nadas ‘B’ left it late, taking the trebles and a 4-4 draw at Sundowners.

It’s too tough to determine who will clinch the titles in both divisions, so good luck to all, in the closest race for a long time.
