Centro Guaidyl project is given the green light
CHILDREN’S charity Helping Hands has already met its 8,000-euro target to fund this year’s project for Centro Guaidyl’s under-privileged children in Granadilla.
It means that every child at the centre will participate in the educational activity ROBOTICA, for free, as well as taking part in various sports. And all their summer activities and excursions will also be funded throughout their 11 weeks’ holiday.
Liz Montague, who co-founded Helping Hands, presented Centro Guaidyl Director Paco Rodriguez with an 8,000-cheque.
“He was absolutely delighted, and the children can now look forward to their new-found activities,” she said. They will also enjoy a memorable summer, filled with fun excursions around the island.”
She added: “We will continue to work hard to support the other projects we have in place this year, so a big thank-you to everyone for your continued support.”
