Adeje and Argentina use same policing strategy

Fernandez added that 150 police chiefs and 47,000 officers from the province of Buenos Aires will be receiving instruction on the new form of policing at Barcelona University, the same instruction that the police of Adeje received back in 1995 when the QOSI system was originally set up.

Adeje councillor for Security, Carmen Nieves Rodriguez, explained that she was proud that the Adeje model for policing was to be used as a reference for effective policing elsewhere, adding that Adeje itself is at present working on improving the system even more to reduce waiting times after receiving a call and also increase contact with the local population working towards a safer, more secure community.
