Keep abreast of Brexit

KAREN O’Reilly, a Professorial Researcher Fellow attached to the Brexit Brits Abroad project, is visiting Costa Adeje from Sunday (9th) until Friday (14th).

She is hoping to discuss with Brit residents here about the ways in which the Brexit controversy is affecting them.

If you wish to take part in the project, you can contact her on k.oreilly@lboro.ac.uk

Brexit Brits Abroad is an extensive sociological study, funded by the UK Government, via the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), which questions what Brexit means for Britons resident in other EU member states.

The research aims to raise awareness of the diversity of British citizens living in the EU27, and their experiences of Brexit.

Working closely with Britons living across the 27 EU countries, it keeps a finger on the pulse of how they experience Brexit, and its impact on their lives as it unfolds.

The research creates evidence to inform policy and practice for the practitioners, civil servants, experts and organisations, responsible for supporting the rights and entitlements of these populations.

You can keep up to date with all its findings, including a fortnightly podcast by contacting www.brexitbritsabroad.com
