Wanted Dutch couple arrested in hotel in Fuerteventura
The National Police have reported that they have detained two Dutch people in a hotel complex in La Oliva in the north of Fuerteventura, who are wanted by the authorities of their own country for financial and economic crimes.
In a press release earlier today issued by the Higher Police Headquarters of the Canary Islands, they stated that they have arrested a woman and a man aged 41 and 57, respectively, of Dutch nationality, with a European arrest warrant for their extradition.

Since their arrest, the National Police have learned that the two citizens were actually wanted internationally. The two are now in custody with the judicial authorities waiting to be deported back to the Netherlands by the Dutch authorities, to be brought to justice.
