TUI has announced today that they will cover any extra costs for customers travelling with them if they catch coronavirus while abroad.

COVID-19 Cover will be provided to every TUI traveller until 31st December 2020 and be used as an additional cover with normal travel insurance. This will cover covers overseas COVID-19 testing costs or repatriation if medically required. And if customers are asked to self-isolate, it will cover the extended stay and a new return flight home

TUI say that the cover should be used alongside normal travel insurance and will be included for all customers travelling on any TUI holiday between 11th July and 31st December 2020 and applies to all new and existing bookings.

With holidays to Tenerife and Lanzarote starting this Sunday with departures for UK airports 6 days a week it’s great news to TUI travellers to have that peace of mind in the unlikely event anything happens during their stay they will be looked after. TUI also have some amazing deals to get away this summer with trips to the canary islands starting at £215 per person for a 7-night stay.

The Covid Cover launch comes as the holiday firm announces they will be resume holidays to seven new destinations including Gran Canaria and Fuerteventura from July 25.
