Rescued swimmer in serious condition in Gran Canaria
A woman, in her 60s, is in a serious condition, after being revived from cardiorespiratory arrest on Amadores beach in Mogán.
Emergency services received a call at 6pm on Saturday informing them that a woman had been rescued by beach lifeguards after showing signs of drowning, and that they were trying to resuscitate her, and immediately sent SUC ambulances to the beach.
Upon arrival paramedics continued with basic and advanced resuscitation manoeuvres, and managed to revive the woman, who's heart had stopped.

A medical helicopter was also dispatched, and safely transferred her to the Insular University Hospital of Gran Canaria, where she is in a serious condition under observation.
