In view of Covid-19 data for the island, one of the main collaborators of the complex, Nordic tour operator Apollo restarted its flights to the island with two weekly flights on Mondays and Sundays.

For several weeks the complex has been preparing for its opening, adapting to all the requirements established in terms of the new hygiene and safety protocols, and taking care of all its facilities to the finest detail to once again receive both elite athletes, and those looking for an active vacation.

Among the elite athletes, the Swedish Olympic Committee stands out, which will stay at the Resort between November 9th and 16th to take advantage of the excellent facilities and carry out physical preparation for the next Olympic Games that start on July 23rd 2021 in Tokyo.

Among the more than 60 athletes of different sports such as triathlon, athletics, swimming, boxing and judo among others, are stand out athletes such as Daniel Ståhl, the 2019 world champion in discus, or Perseus Karlström who got a Bronze medal at the 2019 World Athletics Championships. The athletes will not only make use of the sports facilities of the complex, but will also train in the sports facilities of Gran Tarajal.
