Riu reopens the Buenavista hotel in Tenerife after a full renovation
The Riu hotel chain has announced the reopening of the Riu Buenavista hotel, in Playa Paraiso in Adeje, after a complete refurbishment of its facilities and services to modernize it and make it more efficient and accessible.
The Mallorca based company said in a statement that the reform of this 4-star, 542-room complex, which is aimed at family customers with all-inclusive service, is proof of Riu's commitment to "maintaining investment in the Canary Islands and raising the quality that we offer in the destination.”
With the reformation, the reception has been made bigger, lighting improved and modernized, a large central square has been created, the terrace of the main restaurant has been renovated, gastronomy has been updated with a new Italian restaurant, and there is a new stage for evening shows.
The outdoor area of the hotel has six new swimming pools, one of them only for adults with a new beach bar, and two for children, there is an area for sports activities, and a multipurpose court and a beach volleyball area.
After the renovation, all the rooms at the Riu Buenavista are brighter and more comfortable, "with a more daring decoration in light tones and with more modern, accessible bathrooms with walk-in showers", the press release said.
Not only the Riu Buenavista has been undergoing work, as there have been recent refurbishments of the Riu Palace Tenerife and the adults-only Riu Arecas.
The CEO of Riu Hotels & Resorts, Luis Riu, explained that the hotel company wanted to carry out the work for a long time to showcase the full potential of the complex, and stressed that the Riu Buenavista hotel "is unique because of its location and its structure." After the reform, it is "more modern, comfortable and efficient to work in and to enjoy."
