The show will feature programmes on kayaking, kite surfing, sailing, diving, windsurfing and Hawaiian canoeing taking place at different places on the coast like Playa de las Teresitas, Puerto de la Cruz, Santa Cruz harbour, Radazul and El Mdano beach. This summer some 178 courses are being organised in kite surfing, sailing, water skiing, canoeing, diving, Apnea diving, underwater photography and marine biology. There are three levels of courses and anyone is welcome to take part. The introductory course to kite surfing was very popular last year and will take place at Los Bolos beach in El Mdano this summer, the in-place for this upcoming sport. Demand is normally highest for places on the sailing and canoeing courses. The new sailing school opens its doors this summer and is ideal for younger children and people with no experience to learn all the basics. There are beginners courses of one day or several days - choose from Monday to Thursday or two consecutive weekends. If you have experience there are also advanced courses during the week or over two weekends running. Diving is becoming increasingly popular and new to Tenerife is the Hawaiian canoe, similar to a kayak but with a float to give greater balance.
