Briton accused of murdering his father in Los Abrigos, testifies in court
Paul CS, the British man arrested for the murder of his father on Wednesday morning in Los Abrigos, has appeared in court this morning in Granadilla de Abona, to testify before the judge.
His father’s body had between 35 and 40 stab wounds, the majority of them in the back, according to sources of the investigation.
At around 8.00am on Wednesday, after being alerted by the emergency services, the man’s lifeless body was found in the apartment where he lived in the sleepy fishing village in the south of Tenerife, and his 36-year-old son was arrested as the alleged attacker, being found in his girlfriend’s apartment close by.
Police sources have said that the weapon used, a kitchen knife, was found on a bed in the apartment with traces of blood on it, and apparently, Paul could suffer from mental illness, which tests and checks are being carried out for.
The trial continues.
