International tour operators confirm their interest in Fuerteventura

The president of the Cabildo of Fuerteventura, Blas Acosta, and the manager of the Tourist Board, Moisés Jorge, had a videoconference meeting with the representatives of several of the main international tour operators and tourism companies that operate in Fuerteventura, who have shown their willingness to start operations and bring people back to the island, as soon as sanitary conditions and the opening of borders allow it.

Directors of the tour operators TUI Europe, Thalasso nº1 France, and Jet2 UK, in addition to the president of Excelfuert and the manager of Asofuer, the main tourist carriers of the island, told the insular president about their continued interest in Fuerteventura as a tourist destination, especially due to the good results that the island has shown in the Covid-19 crisis.

Acosta, expressed his support and interest in making the operation as fast and safe as possible, and guaranteed that the Cabildo will work in coordination with the sector, focusing on health security at all levels.
