Live music returns to Las Palmas with the open air Cabaret Festival
The Santa Catalina park in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria, will host the Cabaret Festival from July 24th to August 2nd, a run of open-air concerts that premieres with musicians such as David Bisbal, Orishas, Ara Malikian, Miguel Poveda, Marta Sánchez and Antonio José on the bill.
In a press release, the organisers said that, Cabaret Festival is a new format that combines music and comedy, adapted to the new health situation with capacity of up to 800 people.
The children's group Pica Pica and the comedians Carlos Latre, Goyo Jiménez, Sara Escudero and Los Morancos, will also visit its stage.
The lineup for its first edition is completed by local artists from the islands, such as comedians Antonia San Juan, Kike Pérez and Omayra Cazorla, the singer Cristina Ramos and the Canarian music group Los Gofiones.
The organizers say that they plan to repeat the festival later in other cities around Spain.
