Four injured in car accident on GC-3 ring road in Las Palmas
An accident involving two cars on the Las Palmas ring road yesterday afternoon, left four people injured, including one minor, and one of the cars on it's roof.
At approximately 6pm, emergency services from the capital of Gran Canaria were called to the slip road of junction 8 of the GC-3, the Las Palmas ring road, because two cars had collided and one was overturned on the south carriageway.
The occupants of the cars, including a minor, were able to get out of their vehicles, and were attended to by SUC paramedics at the scene, while firefighters secured the scene to ensure everyone was safe.
Four people were injured as a result of the collision. One man suffered from a head injury and moderate poly concussions, so was transferred in a medical ambulance to the Doctor Negrín University Hospital.
A woman with mild poly contrusions and injuries to her arms, was taken to the Perpetuo Socorro Hospital; a 32-year-old man with neck injuries to the Doctor Negrín University Hospital, and an 18-year-old female who had a minor upper limb trauma to the same place.
The Local Police and Guardia Civil are investigating the cause of the accident.
