Almost 30 people were evacuated from the property, which did not suffer structural damage.

Three people were hospitalized after a fire on Sunday in the halls of residence of the Seminario Diocesano private school in La Laguna, on Camino Real de la Verdellada, as reported by the Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (CECOES).

The incident occurred around 5.15pm and the injured are three women, two of 54 and one of 24 years of age, due to poisoning from smoke inhalation, who were taken to the University Hospital, and a 34-year-old that was treated for an anxiety attack by on-site health personnel.
