Coronavirus update: Canaries ends July with NO deaths all month from Covid-19

It's now 48 days since the last person lost their life in the Canary Islands from COVID-19, on 13th June in Gran Canaria.

With only one patient in ICU, the total deaths of 162 is the one statistic that doesn't look like changing much.

According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health the Canary Islands now has:

Deaths: 0 for 48 days
Total deaths: 162
New cases: 10
Total cases: 2,637
Discharges in last 24 hours: 5
Total discharges: 2,342
Active cases: 133

Of the active cases: 119 are at home/isolation, 13 are in hospital wards, and 1 is in Intensive Care.

Active cases by islands are as follows:
86 in Tenerife;
27 in Gran Canaria;
12 in Fuerteventura;
8 in Lanzarote;
0 in La Gomera;
0 in La Palma;
0 in El Hierro.
