A decree signed by the mayor of Arona, José Julián Mena, after an announcement by the Canary Islands Government, enables access for the public, albeit with restrictions, to the church cemetery.

It means that friends and family members will be able to visit the municipal cemetery, to pay respect to their loved ones, or attend a funeral.

There are restrictions in place, and the maximum capacity inside the cemetery will be 25 people at a time, for no more than 30 minutes, and funerals are limited to 15 people.

The entrance to the cemetery is through Calle Montaña Frías and, it is open every day from 10am to 6pm.

The public opening hours may be suspended in case of burials.
