Four injured in two car accident on TF-1 motorway by Torviscas
An accident yesterday afternoon left four people injured, who needed medical attention. One of the two cars involved, swerved off the carriageway and hit the main structure of the motorway bridge, heading in a north direction, at junction 76 in Adeje.
At 6:20pm the Canary Islands Government's Coordinating Center for Emergencies and Security (CECOES), received an alert from the Local Police who reported that two vehicles had collided, one of them had hit the structure of a bridge, and its occupants needed urgent assistance.
After activating the necessary emergency resources and arriving at the scene of the accident, a fire crew had to assist one man out of his car, and paramedics treated two women and two men.
Fortunately no-one was seriously hurt, but all were stabilized and then transferred to Hospiten Sur and Quirón medical centres.
