Splash out for charity

CHARITY’S “Swim for Life” event takes place at T3 (Tenerife Top Training) today (Saturday), from 10.30am.

That’s when warm-ups start in the pool, and, one hour later, there will be an Agua Gym session, and, in parallel, some water games and diving experiences for those interested.

All participants will be presented with a pink swimming cap, and the morning will finish with a special lunch for all, prepared by chef Mario López.

This is the Swim’s fourth year as part of the overall “Walk for Life” movement, which has grown every year.
It now welcomes thousands of women and men taking part in a variety of breast-cancer awareness, fund-raising activities.

Those in the Swim for Life must be over 14, and people will be asked for a donation of 10 euros to take part.

Full registration details are on and all the monies raised go towards the Walk for Life foundation.
