Siam Park splashes 2.5m on new slides

SIAM PARK,Europe’s largest aquatic theme centre, has spent 2.5 million euros on building two sensational attractions in time for the summer holidays.

The self-styledWaterKingdom, one ofTenerife’s must-see tourist attractions, has introduced Kinnaree and Sawasdee, which, the management say, are “aquatic experiences unique in the world”.

Both open today (Friday) and both guarantee thrills galore for adventurous, fearless mums, dads and kids alike.

Kinnaree, the name of a Thai goddess who dances sensually in a mythical forest, features an enormous 200-metre, winding tunnel, from a height of 25 metres with a 45-degree slope.

It promises surprises in abundance, including lush vegetation with a rapid plunge into a huge tornado wave.
