Salute the Target Army!

AFTER an arduous six-week losing streak in the Premier League, Target Army finally got themselves some points with a 6-2 win over Team Valle.

Their man-of-the-Match, Chris was backed-up ably by Mark, who hit his second maximum.

A fine contest at Cozy Wanderers saw Phoenix Bar pegged back from 3-1 up to 3-3. Kill Bill’s 180 in the second doubles was to no avail as the visitors took that rubber and the trebles for a hard-fought victory.

La Central’s 6-2 loss at Xtreme include maximums for visiting Steve Sub and homies Mike and London, while Bar 180 A had a comfortable night at Team Valle.

In Division 1, Gaffers A starGary, also known as the man in the hat, struck his second 180 during a 7-1 drubbing of Bar 180 B.

The result keeps them a point ahead of Ourplace Naturals, who won by the same margin at Ensecan.

Rood got back to winning ways, thanks to a fine performance by Betty, who hit 104 and 120 check-outs during a 5-3 success over Barracuda Bytes.

And Target Titans narrowly avoided a first defeat by taking the trebles to finish all-square with the Playboys.

Division 2 side Tavern’s latest midweek catch-up match win, and Friday’s 6-2 victory over Red Rock Rebels, sees them move in to second place behind Bar 180 C, who also won at Phoenix Flames.

Chipeque Pool Bar Beat Sundowners 2, while La Cana Lancers’ fourth draw of the season came at home against Gaffers B.

Elsewhere, Bar Amistad’s 3-5 defeat against Trap Door included a first 180 for Jonas.
