Renovae returns
IF you cast your minds back the government introduced an appliance and car renewal scheme, basically meaning that if you traded your old appliance/car in (subject to conditions) you received a discount; well it’s available again. The Renewal Plan 2011 began last month and will continue until the 31st July, or until the tranche of money provided for the discounts runs out.
The number of household appliances has increased notably canaries in recent years have resulted in increased energy consumption in the domestic sector. The energy consumption of these devices can be significantly reduced by encouraging the use of household energy-efficient equipment and in particular items tagged with Class A or better. These more energy efficient items are priced higher than the average market price, which varies by type of appliance. Energy consumption over its lifetime will be lower and therefore less energy bills for the consumer to pay. Thus, in the cases studied, the energy savings obtained allows the buyer to recover in part the premium paid over the life of equipment.
Terms and conditions
•Be resident in theCanary Islands.
•Purchase an appliance of the type specified as eligible in the Renewal Plan 2011 (Order of December 23, 2011 ) to replace the same type but of lower energy category.

•Refrigerator, freezer and fridge-freezer energy class A + +: 125 €
•Refrigerator, freezer and fridge-freezer energy class A +: 105 €
•Washing energy class A, washing performance and energy consumption to less than or equal to 0.17 kWh / kg: 105 €
•Energy rating A Washing termoeficiente and washing performance A: 105 €
•Dishwasher energy class A, washing performance and energy consumption to less than or equal to 0.98 kWh / cycle: 105 €
•Termoeficiente Dishwasher Energy Class A and A Cleaning performance: 105 €
•Induction hobs Total: 105 €
•Dishwasher energy class A, washing performance and energy consumption to more than 0.98 kWh / cycle: 85 €
•Oven Energy Class A: 85 €
•Gas hobs: 50 €
The level of discount must not exceed 25 % of the cost of the item.
The Institute for Energy Diversification and Saving of Energy (IDEA) makes publicly available DATABASE EFFICIENT APPLIANCES classified by type, make, energy class, etc.
The majority of electrical shops are advertising the fact that they are offering this promotion. You simply purchase an item, provide your residencia and a simple form is completed.
