Coronavirus update: 27 days with no Covid deaths in any of the Islands

The Canary Islands ended the week with no new cases and no discharges yesterday, although the statistics were corrected by the Ministry of Health, who subtracted 1 case and 1 discharge due to a case being counted twice:

Deaths: 0 for 27 days
Total deaths: 162
New cases: -1
Total cases: 2,455
Discharges in last 24 hours: -1
Total discharges: 2,224
Active cases: 69

Of the active cases: 67 are at home/isolation, 1 is in a hospital ward, and 1 is in Intensive Care.


BY DECLARATION OF LOCATION OF THE CASE:
The split of the figures can vary slightly depending on whether they are recorded by place of residence, or where the case was recorded, ie where the person was when it happened, but the totals are still the same.
We use location of the case as the person is physically in that place.

10 in Gran Canaria;
5 in Lanzarote;

0 in El Hierro.
