Jet.2 increase flights - 09.07.2010
There are now 40 Jet2holidays.com contracted hotel establishments in south Tenerife

The airline Jet2.com yesterday (Wednesday) announced it will offer 24 weekly flights to the Canaries from the UK of which 15 are going to Tenerife, seven to Lanzarote and two to Gran Canaria.
A total of 184 000 tourists a year travel with Jet2 to the Canaries.
Of the 184 000 tourists, around 5,000 a week visit Tenerife.
This was announced when the Mayor of the municipality of Adeje Tourism Councillor, Miguel Angel Santos, accompanied by Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2 holidays.com et this week.
The group announced the consolidation of increasing flights between the Canary Islands and seven UK airports.
Steve Heapy announced it cheaper for a British tourist to travel to the Canary Islands due to a tax in the UK is set at 11 euros plus the fare, whereas if you travel to Egypt, tax has risen to 65 euros.
The general director of Jet2holidays.com announced a summer with good prospects for customers, "we’ve adapted to modern times" and he announced a "high overall occupancy for the Canary Islands."
